irlHEREAS, after due consideration, it appears to this Board of County
Commissioners, that it is not in the public interest to continue to maintain
as part of the county road system all that portion of the former location of
Primary State Highway No.9, revised in 1939, in Lot 2, section 23, township
29 north, range 2 west, W.M. outside of the right of way of the present location
of Primary State Highwavr No.9; excepting the right of way of the West Uncas
Road (County Road No. 34); and in contemplation of the statue, R. C. W. .36.87.010,
the same is useless, now therefore,
BE IT RES0LVED, and this Board of County Commissioners does now declare
its intention to vacate and abandon said road, and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, and the County Engineer is hereby directed to
examine said road and report his opinion as to whether this county road should be
vacated and abandoned; whether it is in use or has been in use; the condition
thereof, and whether it will be adviseable to preserve said road for the county
road system in the future; whether the public will be benefited by the proposed
abandenment, and all other facts, matters and things which will be mt! importance
to the Board and that such report be filed as soon as practicable.
