WHEREAS, County Road. No. 216, oommonly known as the "Upper Hoh Roac:itt,
was not improved for the purpose of permitting its use for the transportation
of logs, or for the purpose of permitting.the traverse thereon of logging trucks~

WHEREAS, this Board. of County Commissioners has been informed that the same
for some period. last past has been used. by truck loggers; and. as a result of log
truck pounding, said. read is breaking up and if logging truck operation thereon
is allowed to continue, the road will be of no value for the purposes intended,
Now therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED, that effective March 23, 1959, and. for a perioci of one
year thereafter it shall be unlawful to operate arw vehicle whatsoever upon said
County Road No. 216, commonly lmown as the Upper Hoh Road., aforesaili, with a gross
weight in excess of sixteen thousanci pounds,
J.ND BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that a copy of this resolution be published. once
in the Port Townsend. Leader, and signs indicating the limitation of traffic as here-
in imposed be posted at the termini of said. road.,
and BE IT FINAlLY RESOLVED that any person found. guilty of violating the
provisions of this resolution shall be guilty of a misdemeanor.
