WHEREAS, by reason of an unprecedented call upon
public funds for the defense of individuals charged with
crime in the Superi or c'ourt of the State of Washington,
for Jefferson county, has vastly exceeded the budget for
SUPERIOR COURT - Defense attorn ey, and the emnty Auditer ha s
now determined that amoont in the sum of $ )29.20
, and
WHEREAS, such expenditures are mandatory and required
ed
by law and order/paid by the Judge of said Superior Court of
the State of Wash ington for Jefferson county, now therefor e,
B~ IT RESOLVED that an emergency is hereby found and
declared to exist requiring the immedia te afpropriaticn of said
sum te meet the orders as aforesaid and the County Audi tor be
and she is hereby authorized to issue emergency warltants upon
the Current Expense Fund of said county in said amount.
