ARESOIDTION of the B02:'d of C0(mty Commissioners for Jefferson county,
4 Washingt on, distributing and allocat ing Federal Borest
Reserve monies received by Jefferson county in the calendar
5 year, 1959.
6 vVffERRAS, the Jefferson county Treasurer is in receipt of the
7 sum of $578,521.06 from the State Auditor of the State of Washington,
8 representi~ thi s county's .dis:t~ibutive share of FJ&eral Forest Reserve
9 revenues apportioned by the U.S. Department of Agriculture dur ing the
10 calendar year, 1959, and pursuant to the statute of the state of Washington
11 in such cases made and. provided, it is now the duty of this Board of
12 County Comrrlissioners to ~nake propt;r disposition thereof, and,
13 TIH3REAS, this 30ard of County Commissioners has given
14 careful cons i de rat ion to the need. of the county road system, and. to the
15 needs o.:f' the several school districts of Jefferson county; their
16 necessary administrative requirement.; and particularly to the preservation
17 of the health of the school children of Jefferson county, now therefore,
18 13E IT RESOLVED, and this Joard 0 f County Commissioners does
19 hereby 0 reier, allocate, ell stri bute ani apportion sa id fUm of i578,521.06
20 2S follows:
21 (a) to the COUNTY roAD It''O'ND far the maintenance ald
22 construction of county roads during the year 1960, the sum of #289,260.53;
23 (b) to the COUNTY CUR LENT EXPE:NSE FUND for the exclusive use
24 0 f the Super1Jlltendent 0 f Schools during the yea.r 1960, the sum of
25 $6,332.00, for the reason and upon the ground that the said County
26 Superintendent 0 f Schools is not 2 county constitutional officer 2nd the
27 duties 2nd operatio. of said offioe is one devotei entire17 toward the
28 benefit of tl:e publ1c schools, and said sum of tG,332.00 is a sum sufficient
29 to exclusive17 operate the same in 1960;
30 (0) to School District No. 20 (Queets-Clearwater) the sum of
31 $5,000.00, for disbursement 1n such manner as the Directors of that school
may direct;

3 may direct;
4 (e) to the 01ymp1c Health Distriot the sum ot $5,500.00
5 for the purpose of continuing and improving the health program of the
6 various oounty schocl district., and that said sum shall be apportioned
7 by the Oonnty Superintendent of Schools according to attendance as the
8 same is reflected in each of said school distriots;
9 (t) to School District No. 20 (Queeta-Olearwater); School
10 Distriot No. 46 (Brinnon); School Distriot No. 4S.:(Qu.ilcene); School
11 District No. 49 (Ohlmaoum); School District 'No. 60 (Port Tomsend), and
12 to School District No. 402 (Qulllayute), the remainder ot said sum
13 of .678,521.06, to-wits the sum of '267,438.63, the same to be apnortdoaed
14 according to attendaJ. ce 1n sai~ di stri cts by theOount y Superintendent
15 of Schools according to law.
