WHEREAS, it tI4.ing been made to appear to the Board ot
County Commissioners for Jefferson County, Washington, that
the budget for the office of the Superintendent of Schools
for Jefferson County is entitled to an allocation of state
funds from the Superintendent of Public Instruction of the
State of Washington under the provisions of Chapter 15, Laws
ot 1955, and,
WHEREAS, this Board having been informed that said Super-
intendent of Public Instruction has allocated to the JeffersoD.
County Superintendent of Schools, $4,792.00 in funds of that
origin, and,
WHEREAS, these funds, if not expended during the current
fiscal year, are not subject to transferral to the Jefferson
County Current Expense Fund in accordance with statutory pro-
cedure, but on the other hand, shall and should remain intact
and identitied for the purpose intended, and,
WHEREAS, it appears that a procedure tor the expenditure
ot these state funds should be set up so that disbursement
control is within the discretion and jurisdiction of the Jet-
ferson County Superintendent ot Schools,
Now, therefore, BE IT RESOLVED that there be, and is
hereby established a special fund ot this county to be known
and entitled nEDUCATIONAL SPECIAL SERVICE FUND", the purpose
of which is to specitically set aside and designate as a

special fund for the receipt of State Educational Special
Service Fund allC?tments allocated, and to be allocate4~M
this eountY'~,~he State Superintendent of Public Inst.ruction.
Disbursement', ' said fund, as herein created, shall be upon
warrants drawn by the Auditor ot Jefferson County, which bear
the approval of the CouO~Y Superintendent of Schools,and not
otherwise.

1 BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that a copy of this Resolution
2 be filed with the Treasurer of Jefferson Oounty, Washington.
