C-384 1.~THEREAS it appears to the Board of County Commissioners for Jefferson County, that the following budgets will not have sufficient funds to maintain them for the year of 1955, due to emergencies which could not have been foreseen at the time of preparing budgets. THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: THAT there be, and hereby is appropriated for immediate expenditure the following: COUNTY AGRICULWRIST: Salary, stenographer $10.00 COUNTY AUDITOR: Maintuance &. Operation; Records and supplies $115.00 COUNTY SHERIFF: Salaries &. Wages; Speci al Deputies 230.00 Maintenance &. Operation: Records and supplies 105.00 COUNTY TREASURER: Records &. Supplies 5.00 WMEREAS,it appears that certain budget items will not be sufficient, and other items will not be needed during this year, and in accordance with Sec. 3997-5, Remington's Revised Statutes of Washington, NOiN THEREFORE, the County Auditor is hereby directed and authorized to transfer the following amounts in the 1955 budget: GENERAL ADMINISTRATION: $210.00 transferred from Employees Retirement, county contributi on to SOCIAL SECURITY OASI for county contri bution ~ $5.00 transferred from PEST CONTROL to CARE OF STRAY DOGS.
