RESOLUTION NO. c- 3 0 ~
WHEREAS, the Board of County Oo.mmissioners has learned with
regret of the resignation of John T. Rusk as Jefferson CouRty
Welfare Administrator, and of the probability that the affairs of
Jefferson County, with respect to the duties of this ottice, being
carried on in absentia by person or persons non-residents ef Jefferson
County, and,
WHEREAS, this Board is of the opinion that efficiency can only
be maintained through physical contact of the Administrator to his
problems at a strictly local level,
:NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that a successor to Kr. Rask
be appointed as soon as practica~le,in order that the high degree of
efficiency as developed by Mr. C. W. Miller, the predecessor of Mr.
Rusk. a nd subsequently followed by lI:r. Rusk, be maintained, and that
the same i~ in the publiC interest not only to the State of Washington,
but to the people of Jefferson County and be it
FURTHER RESOLVED, that a copy of this Resolution be forthwith
transmitted to G. M. Hollenbeck, Acting Director, Department of Publio
Assistance of the State of Washington. "
