WHEREAS, Jefferson County Flood Control Department proposc~ to protect
the banks of the Big QuUcene River and the Little Quilcene River with rip-rap
to protect the county roads and adjoining properties from floods; thereby
eliminating the need of Jefferson County Read Department to protect their roads
.y rip-rap.

WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners lor Jefferson County has found
and determined that the sum of $2,470.00 is an estimated amou,nt of contribution
to the cost of the improvement and, in proportion to the benefits to be derived.

THEREFORE, pursuant to the proTisionsof section 85.24.240, R. C. W., the
Treasurer of Jefferson County, be and he is authorized and empowered )'0 transfer
from the COUNTY ROAD FUND to the Jefferson County Flood Control Fund the sum
of $2,470.00.
