RESOLUTION NO. 0.25;
WHEREAS it appears to the Board oJ" County Commissione rs
that the automobiles lnthe Jefferson County Sheriff's
department are in dangerous running condltionand will be a
aetriment to the efficiency of the office, and
WHEREAS in the 1955 budget the amount of $1500.00 was
included for the purchase of one new car', and wi. ththe
additional amount of $925.00 added ther.to, two cars should
be purchased; and
. WHEREAS a saving of considerable .110ney can be bad in
the maintenan.ce bracket of the budge~ With the replacement of
two cars, now
THEREFCRE,- BE IT RESOLVED, that.there be, and i8 hereby
appropriated for ~mmediateexpendit~.J rthe aum; of $925.00 in
addition to the amount plac.ed in. ~be19,5 ,Qu4get under CAPITAL;
OUTLAY for the pur'chase of two cars for the Jefferson County
Sheriff, due to the dangeroos condi.tion which exists in the
running condition of the equipment.
