RESOLUTION NO.,C-254
WHEREAS it appears to the Board of County Commissioners
th~t the term of Constable in this County expired on the 9th
day of January, 1955, and
WHEREAS the offi ce of Constable in this County has been
aboli shed for the future, and
WHEREAS in compiling the budget for Jefferson County for
the year 1955, the fact that the term extended to January 9th
was overlooked and no provi si on was made for salary for 9 days
at the rate of $60.00 per month,
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the amount of $17.42 be
hereby appropriated for salary to be paid to F. W. Cook ,'for
January 1, 1955 to and including January 9, 1955, to complete
the term for which he had ,been heretofore elected, and it is
ORDERED that the Auditor of Jefferson County be authorized
to draw a warrant upon the Current Expense Fund of 1955 in the
amount of $17.42 payable to F. W. Cook.
ORDERED this 7th day of February, 1955.
