Whereas it appears to the Board of County Commissioners
that the budget item for Clerical
assistance
for the office of County Superintendent of SOhools, by reason
of unprecedented demands up9n the services of that office, is
,exhausted, and
WHEREAS, during the month of August, 1,954, it is really necessary
that a large number of reports must be compiled, not only to
meet necessary demands of local school responsibilities, but to meet
requirements of the Interim Committee of the State Legislature,
and that the sum of $100.00 should be immediately appropriated
for the purpose aforesaid, and that the same is to provide for

It statutory requirements, and the. t no notice of hearing, therefor,
is required, BE IT RESOLVED, that there be, and is hereby
appropriated for the immediate expenditure by the School
Superintendent for clerical assistance the sumo! $100.00, and
that the County Auditor be and she is hereby authorized to issue
emergency warrants upon the Current Expense Fund of Jefferson
County, upon properly approved vouchers, not exceeding said sum
.of $100.00.
