RESOLUTION NO. 0-202

WHEREAS, it has been found necessary for the preservati on
of health and sanitation in the towns of Chi_cum and Quilcene,
to eradi cate rats from the garbage dumps near those two communi ti as.
WHEREAS, at the time of making up the preliminary budget for
Current Expense for the year 1953, it was not known there was a
need for such extermination of rodents, and
WHEREAS, that an emergency exists for the expenditure of
$17.50 per month for the balance of this ,ear, for the purpose

aforesai d~ and the amount of $l92.50 is hereby appropriated for ;-
the purpose of payment of such services from February; 1953 t-o
and incl uding December, 1953. The County Audi tor is hereby
authorized and empowered to issue emergency warrants upon said Current
Expense Fund not exceeding 'sa! d amount upon the presentation of '
properly approved wucn.r.j".andJ.it is
FURTHER RESOLVED that said appropriation is for the purpose
of the preservation of health and san! tation, and this 'resolution
shall become ef~ive without further notice or hearing.
ADOPTED this 6th day of April, 1953.
