The Board of Jefferson County Commissioners for Jefferson County,
having been advised by the County Treasurer of Jefferso(J County, of .
the receipt of the sum of t35~,936.16 in cash from the State Treasurer
representing the. allotment due the Oountyof JefferS9n from the Federal
Government from Forest Reservesl which sum coupled with a transfer from
the Ourrent Expense Fund of t18uO.001 as ordered by the Honorable Max
Church) Judge of the Superior Court for Jefferson County, making a total
of $350,736.16, available for this purpose, now therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Comm~ssioners for Jefferson
County, under and pursuant to the provisions of Section 4057, Remington's
Revised Statutes, that said allotment and the whole thereof shall be '
expended for the benefit of the publi c s ehools and public roads of
Jefferson County, and not otherwise, as follows:
(a) the first $8,000.00 shall be expended for the improvement of
certain Quilcene Oi ty StreetQadjacen~ to the Quileene SChool,. and any
unexpended balance 'will reve'rt to the JeffersOn, County' Road Fund,
(b) The balance of $348,736.16 shall be divided 50% to Roads
and 50% to Schools, the amount of each being $174,368.08,
(c) The amount for schools to be allocated as follows:
School Dis tri ct No. 50, Port Townsend,
School District No. 49, Chima cum,
School District No. ~8, Quileeoe,
School District No. 46, Bri nnon,
School District No, 20, Clearwater, ,
