HomeMy WebLinkAboutC 138 e_ ee RESOLUTION NO. c - /3 i WHEREAS" upon the close of business for the Current Expense Fund for the fiscal year ending December 31, 1950, it appears that by reason, of unforseen and unprecedented demands, the items of the Current Expense Fund budget for said year of 1950, have over-run the budgeted amounts in the following offi cas and/or departments and in the following particulars: COUNTY CLERK: Records and supplies $ 1'7.87 COUNTY JAIL " Board of prisoners and repairs to equipment 883.45 JUSTICE C CURT Fees of Justices 88.02 PROSECUTING ATTORNEY , Securing evidence 110'7.'79 SUPERI OR COURT Jury fees 27.08 GENERAL ADIVfI:NISTRATION Bond premiums Annual State Examination Industrial Insurance premiums 104.90 254.63 '71.'75 or an aggregat,e of $2~555.49, in excess of originally budge~ed in the particular accounts amounts/for the Current Expense Fund for said year of 1950~ and WHEREAS, it now appears to the Board of Jefferson County that each and every of said obligations were really necessary for ;7. proper administration of county government and each constitute a mandatory expense as required by law, therefore, BE IT RESOLVED and said Board does now find and declare to exist an emergency requiring the immediate appropriation of money in said sum of $2,555.49, to meet said obligations as aforesaid, and whereas such emergency as hereby found and declared to exist is such a case as contemplated by Section 399'7-6,'Remington's Revised e_ ee statuteB of WAshington, the County Auditor of said Jefferson county be and she is here~ authorized and directed to issue emergency warrants not exceeding said sum as aforesaid upon the presentation of properly approved vouchers, without further notice or hearing. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that this resolution shall be deemed corrective of and supplemental to, that certain Resolution January 15, 1951 and numbered da ted/No. C-137.
