A RESOLUTION of the Board of County Commissioners of
Jefferson County, employing counsel for certain
servioes in connection with the issuance and sale
of $22,000 of funding bonds of the county.
'WHEREAS, Jefferson County no~"" has e.pproximately ~'21,500 of
current expense registered 3% warrants issued for regularly budgeted
administrative purposes during the year 1950 which a.re now out-
ste.nding, for which it has no money to pay; and
'WHEREAS, it is deemed necesse.ry and advisable that funds to pay
the same be raised\by the issuance of general obligation funding
bonds in the principal sum of $22,000; and
vIHEREAS, it is further deemed neoessary and advisable that
bond counsel skilled in such matters be retained to draw the resolutions,
notices and other documents necessary for the issuance of said funding
bonds, end to give their opinion as to the validity of said bonds
at the time of their sale,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners
of Jefferson County, Washington, as follows:
That Preston, Thorgrimson & Horowitz, Attorneys at le.w, of Seattle,
lITashington, be e.,nd they are hereby rete.ined to perform the services
above set forth, e,nd as compensation therefor the County hereby a.grees
~ to pay them the sum of $250, and in addition thereto furtheragre~ to
reimburse said counsel for all out-of-pocket eXDense which they may
incur in the performance of said services.
The County further agrees to furnish said counsel at their office in
Seattle, Washington, with a complete certified trans~ipt of all pro-
ceedings taken in the matter of the issuance of said bonds.

Washington, this 19th day of Februar.~51.
