WHEREJS~ in order to establish a co~ct and accurate system of accounting
to insure the prompt payment of principal and interest on Jefferson County's
General Obligation Bridge Bonds, 1951, when such maturities and interest
pqments become due, and upon the reconmendation of the Division of Municipal
Corporations of the State of Washington,
BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County COIIIIIlissioners for Jefferson County,
Washington, that there be and is hereby established a fund of Jefferson County
to be known as Portage Canal Bridge Bond Fund and the Treasurer of Jefferson
County be and he is hereby aut.horized and directed to transfer from the County
Road Fund forthwith the 8UIl of 11800.00' in order to meet the first semiannual
payment of interest due upon said bonds. that prior to April 15, 1952 transfer
u,~.hereinbefore directed a like sum of '1800.00, and prior to October 15, 1952
transfer a further sum of 11800.00.
BE IT FURl'HER RESOLVED that no further transfers be made to meet the payment
of such principal and interest, pending the establishment of a definite rule 1
proce~dure -with respect to the liquidation and discharge of this bond issue.
