RESOLUTION NO. C-l17
WHEREAS, the Board of Jefferson County Commissioners
is aware of the great danger of fire and accidents from the
sale and use of fireworks, and
WHEREAS, various merchants in the County are engaged
in the sale of such merchandise,
NOW THEREFORE, be it resolved that the sale and use of
firecrackers, and other kinds of fireworks, will be prohibited
in Jefferson County during the year, EXCEPT on the days of
July lst to and including July 7th of each year, until such
further ruling of the Board.
Any sales or use, by any persons, of firecrackers and
other kinds of fireworks, except during the above mentioned
dates will be in violation of the law.
