RESOLUTION NO. C! - / ~ 1
WHEREAS, under the provisions of Public Law 352, Blat Congre88,
approved October 13, 1949 providing for the advancement of funds to
various legal subdivisions of the several states for the purpose or
aiding in prel~inary work in connection with public works; Jefferson
County,in aid of the development and construction of the proposed
Portage Canal bridge, 'has received. 2,250.00 of the allotted sum of
$9,000.00, the same to be repaid to the United States if and when
said bridge is completed and accepted, and
BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners for Jefferson'
County, that there be and hereby i. hereby created a fund known and
designated as the "PORTAGE CANAL BRIDGE FUND", into which shall be '

credited all moneys received by said county for the purpose aforesaid,
the same to be disbursed by the County Treasurer upon properly approved
vouchers.
