RESOLUTION NO. C~l32.
Pursuant to a special election held at Four Corners on December
4, 1950, in conformance with Remington's Revised Statutes of Washington,
Par. 5654-101; for the purpose of establishing a fire protection district
for the area around Four Corners, Adelma Beach and Chevy Chase, and said
election resulting in 35 votes case for the proposition and no votes
casa against the proposition:
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the territory described as
follows:
"The areas in and around Four Corners, Adelma Beach,
and Chevy Chase at present being served by the Port Townsend
Water Supply lines. The said area includes residences on both
sides of the road commencing at Chevy Chase Inn and extending
to the end of the Adelma Beach area pipe line on the Old
Discoverr. Bay Road; and east from Adelma Beach.across State
Highway '9 and along the so...called Chimacum Highway to a
point approximately 500 feet east of the main Port Townsend
Water Supply Pipe line,"
is duly organized as a fire-protection district under the name of
Jefferson County Fire Protection District No.2, and Raymond Goodrich
A. J. Bogan and Fred Simcoe are duly elected as commissioners of said
district.
