REsOLUTION NO. c- 42

WHEREAS, residents of Chimaoum and vicinity have legally filed a. petition

for the formation of a fire protection distri~t, as authorized under and by

virtue of the laws of the State' of Wash1ngt~, pursuant to Rem:1ngtons H.erlsed
Statlltes, Section 56.54.-101 et seq, and

WHEREAS, upon a hearing of said petition, no objections to the same were

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the formation of said fire protection
district will be' condusive to the public safetY', welfare and convenience
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that said petition for the formation of

said fire protection district be and is hereby found favorable by the Ebard of

County Commissioners of Jefferson County.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the n. of said fire protection district sh

be Jefferson County Fire Protection District No.1, and

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the boundaries of. said fire protection shall
