RESOLUTION NO. c- 54.
Pursuant to a special election held at Chimacum on May 29, -
1948 in conformance with Remington's Refilled Statutes of Washington,
Par. 5654-101; for the purpose of establishing a fire protection
district for the commun~ties of Chimacum, Hadlock and Irondale, and
said election resulting in 89 votes east for the proposition and 4
votes cast against the proposition,
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the territory described as
follows:
"The SE~, See. 33, si See. 34 and 35, in Township 30, N.,
R. 1 W., and Section 1 (Except Lot 1), Sections 2, 3, the Ei of
Sec. 4, E! See. 9, Sees. 10, 11, 12, 13, 14, 15, the E! Sec. 16,
Ei Sec. 21, Sees., 22, 23, 24, 25, 26, 27, the Ei Sec. 28, Ei
Sec. 33, Secs., 34, 35, 36, in Townsfuip 29, N., R 1 W., and Section
6, West of the Portage Canal, Section 7, West of Oak Bay and Secs.,
18 and 19, in Township 29 N., R 1 E., "
is duly organized as a fire-protection district under the name of
Jefferson County Fire Protection District No.1, and J. D. Bengtson,
Gurden Bill and J. T. Lay are duly elected as commissioners of said
district.
