EMERGENCY RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, at the time the 1948 budget waS being
prepared, the amount of overdraft in the Public Health
fund during the year 1948 could not be forseen, and
WHEREAS, at the beginning of the year 1948 the
Public Health fund was and at the present time is over-
drawn in about the sum of $2,500.,00, and
WHEREAS, it is necessary for the preservation of
public health that this fund be kept solvent,
NOW THEREFOR, BE IT RESOLVED that an emergency
exists, and the undersigned Board of Commissioners of
Jefferson Coun~, does hereby appropriate the sum of
$2,500.00 for theePublic Health fund and directs that
the Treasurer of Jefferson County transfer this amount
from the County Current Expense fund to the County
Public Health fund.
