Dear Miss Eads:
According to a news release appearing in the papers on Sept-
ember 20th, the commissioners of the three counties comprising
the 24th Legislative District were to meet on October 9 to
appoint a successor to Francis Pearson, as a member of the
House of Representatives, Mr. Pearson having been appointed
to the Senate to succeed Dr. Black, resigned.
Will you please send us 'the name, address and party affilia-
tion of the ap~ointee made by the joint county commissioners
to succeed Mr. Pearson as a member of the House? There has
been nothing in the papers to inform us of this appointment.
