to the needs 01' the Armed i3erviccs and is available tor transfer
without cost to a Governmental Unit tor'Publlc use provided ob-
11pe.t1ons to operate, maintain and use are assumed;
NOVv 'fHEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED: that the Board 01' County Com-
miss10ners of .Jefferson County express its des1re to ticquire the
Airport property for the o~ratlon ot 8. County- A1rr'ort, and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED: that in the event that suoh airport
property 1s..-~.x:~nsrerred to the oounty, the County will agree to

cau'fI.e suoh a.irport to be operated and maintained tor the beneti t
of the Publio, and wjll agr~e to grant no exclusive lease tor
any operation at such airpo,rt until 8\teh time as an airport ot
superior stand&rds 1s developed within the same distanoe from
the City of Port Townsend.
