Mr. Chas T. Miller, Afchitect, presented an agreement to the Board to sign for the contemplated
improvements to the court house.

the present air field and accordingly the following was presented: ~

WHEREAS: It is the desire of the Board of COUltty Commissioners of Jefferson County to ac~uire
for Jefferson County the Airport Property, commonly known as Ft. Townsend Military Reservation,

~uarters building. one pump house, w~ter tower, together with the water distribution s~stem,
fencing, and drainage system, subject to eXisting easements for roads, highways. public utilities,
raihlays and pipe lines, subject to, conditions, restri,ctions ~nd reeervll,tions set-forth in
Section 8316.10, 8316.13 (a) 8316.21 of Wro: Assets Administration Regulations 16; nd
WHEREAS: The Board of County Commissioners have entered into negotiations with the War Assets
Administration, Seattle, Washington for the Office of Real Property Disposal, located at 1409
Second Avenue, McDermott Building, Seattle. Washington. for the c~uisition of that certain l~nd in
Jefferson County, Washington, consisting of 124 acres more or le~s of Government o~~ed land, as
crossh.tched in red on p map prepared b;o- the Wer DepartmentO.C.E. entitled IIReal Estate~
