proposed street vaoation at Irondale as advertised and pos8ed in the
P.T. Leader, and no one appearing against the closing and vaoation,

and Mr. Learned having paid the costs ?f examination and advertising,
upon motion made, seoonded and Passed the following desoribed street
in Irondale was ordered vaoated as of this date: Monday, Sept 16th, 1946.
"Seoond Avenue lying and being between Blook'43 and
Blook 45 of the Plat of Irondale, from the SW oorner of Lot 46

the publisher of the Port Townsend Leader, a
weekly newspaper which has been established,
published in the English language and circulated
continuously as a weeklY newspaper in the town
of Port Townsend, in said county and State, .and
of general circulation in said county for more
than six (6) months prior to the date of the first
publication of the Notice hereto attached, and that
the said Port Townsend Leader was on the 27th
day of June, 1941, approved as a legal newspaper
by the Superior Court of said Jefferson County,

In regard to the petition of Mr. Allen Learned
for the vacation of:
"Second Avenue lying and being between
Block 43 and Block 45 of the Plat of
Irondale, from the SW corner of Lot 46
of Block 45 to the NW corner of Reserve

I have made an examination of the street as de-
scribed above and find that no one 1s using it for
a street except Mr. Learned. At one time this street
was used as a tborofare, but that was many years ago.
Therefore there is no objection to vacating the de-
scribed portion of Second Avenue from the County
Engineer's Office.
Charge for examination of this petition is $5.00.

PETITION FOR ABONDONMENT 0"1 ROAD

We hereby petition the County Commissioners to vacate and abandon
the following County road because the' public will be benetited by its
abandomnent since it is useless as a part of the County road system:
On the plat ot Irondale: Second Avenue lying between Block 43
and Block 45 of Irondale from the southwest corner ot Lot 46 ot Block
45 to the Northwest corner ot Reserve B of Block 45.
