lIiEREAS there is at preseBt a great need for funds for mainta1n1ng a
civilian defense program within t.h.e Count,. of Jefferson, State of WashingtoDlJ. and
WHEREAS the premises comsidered, the undersigned CClIDDIisnoners of Jefferson
Count,. are tull,. satisfied that the parposes for 1Ih1ch said oiv1l1an defense
funds wou1d be expended are tull,. in accord with the purposes for which 'Forest
Resern Funds ' are supplied to this Count,. by the Federal GogerDllent,
IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED and ORDERED by the Board of CCIIIIIIlissioners for Jefferson
Count,., Washington, that the sum ot Eighteen Hundred (l1a:>o.OO) dollars shall be
transferred fran said Forest Reserve Funds to the said ci Yilian defense purpose
fund in the said Count,., and the Auditor'" of said Count,. is hern1 th empowered
to accept Touchers up to that _ount against said funds, and the Treasurer o'
said County is herewith authorized and directed to pay said warrants,
