Vacation of that portion of Oscar x
Peterson Road lying within the x
Northwest 1;4 of the Northwest 1;4
Section 29, Township 27 North,
Range 11 West, WM
WHEREAS, the Jefferson County Board of Commissioners has reviewed a road vacation petition
submitted by Gary Peterson; and
WHEREAS, the Jefferson County Hearing Examiner held a public hearing on the road vacation
petition on March 2,2004; and
WHEREAS, the Jefferson County Hearing Examiner considered testimony of the public, comments
from applicable departments, agencies and offices, and recommendation from the Jefferson County Public
Works Department and Jefferson County Department of Community Development at the public hearing;
and
WHEREAS, the Jefferson County Hearing Examiner determined at the public hearing that the
public will benefit from the vacation of this road and such vacation complies with the Jefferson County
Comprehensive Plan and other applicable plans, policies or ordinances; and
WHEREAS, the Jefferson County Board of Commissioners considered said Hearing Examiner's
report of the public hearing and his recommendation for the vacation request dated March 15, 2004; and
WHEARAS, the Jefferson County Board of Commissioners approved this vacation request at their
regularly scheduled meeting on May 17, 2004 and all conditions now having been met;
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the following be vacated and abandoned pursuant to
RCW 36.87.140 and Jefferson County Road Vacation Ordinance No. 05-0924-01: The deeded and usage
right of way of Oscar Peterson Road, being approximately 20' wide by 995' long, lying within the
Northwest V4 of the Northwest V4 of Section 29, Township 27 North, Range 11 West, WM.. This vacation
affects Assessors parce~umbers: 711292001,711292002.
