Update on Operations
Dash submitted our response to Kenmore Air’s DOT complaint last Friday. We expect a response from the DOT will take a few weeks, but we are confident we presented a strong argument for
dismissing the complaint.
Flight crew training has been ongoing, and we’ve begun training our customer service staff. Due to the Kenmore complaint, our FAA certification was delayed a bit, but we expect that
to be completed soon. Finally, we’ve moved into our new hangar at the Port Angeles airport and welcomed aboard a new mechanic who will be based at CLM and longtime Sequim resident.

We’ve established our flight crew ‘pipeline’ and will be continuously recruiting pilots. If you (or someone you know) is retired and want to continue flying, our operating partner Backcountry
Aviation (BCA) is looking for experienced Flight Crews. BCA provides pilots with an opportunity to continue flying past the mandatory retirement age. Since BCA is a CFR Part 135 scheduled
air carrier, age is not a limitation, only the ability to maintain a First Class Medical.
Applicants must meet the requirements of FAA Part 135.243 regulations - beginning with a minimum of 1,500 flight hours and a ME ATP Rating. Full and Part-Time pilot positions are available.

and paddling race.
Join us Saturday, Sept.17, 2022 for the rowing/paddling race that's part of our 30th Reach and Row for Hospice fundraiser. New for 2022: the Row For Hospice Regatta will feature a 5K
out and back race course on the west side of Sequim Bay starting near the Mud Bay water entry point at John Wayne Marina. The course extends (2.5K) to a mark near Schoolhouse Point
for the turnaround in a clockwise direction and the return north to the finish line.
