Good afternoon, PRTPO Executive Board and TAC members –
As noted at the August Board meeting, we are again soliciting input from PRTPO members on projects to be included on PRTPO’s 2023 legislative agenda. A copy of last year’s project list
is included for your reference.
We are collecting information for the list through this Survey Monkey poll. <https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/2023Projects> It should take no more than five minutes to complete once you
know what project to submit. If possible, please try to submit your project information by September 14th so we can share them with the TAC. All projects received by September 19th
will be reviewed by the Legislative Work Group before the Board receives a final draft in October as a part of the complete Transportation Outlook 2023 legislative folio.
Space is limited. If there’s room we may be able to include a second project for your organization, but our goal is first to include the top priority project from each PRTPO member organization.
If multiple people are submitting for the same organization, please try to coordinate priorities internally in case we run short on space. We want to be sure we’re including each member’s
top priority project. Cities, counties, tribes, transit, and port districts are all invited to submit a project.
For some members, a top priority may be an unfunded project. For others, a priority appears to be funding secured but the revenue may be in jeopardy. It is up to each member organization
to determine what their priority need is. Note that PRTPO includes an over-arching statement about preservation and maintenance funding. We will also general support for fish barrier
removal efforts as well.
If you have any questions or run into any difficulties with the Survey Monkey tool, please let me know. Thank you for your assistance –
Thera
