AGREEMENT
In the matter of State Route 20, M.P. 7.78 to M.P. 8.27
(Airport Cut-Off Road Intersection) .
Per the Governmental Agreement for Aid GC-9462, dated March
2, 1992, between Jefferson County, Department of Public
Works, hereinafter called the Agency, and the State of
Washington, Department of Transportation, hereinafter called
the Department, the undersigned further agree to the
following:
1. The Agency Work Order Number is JH 0719.
2 . The Department will perform all right-of-way activities
to include ordering of title reports, appraisal, preparing
documents to include the deeds and Real Property Vouchers,
negotiations, obtaining the signatures of the owners of
property to be acquired, and reviewing the executed
documents prior to recording of the documents and requesting
payment from the Agency.
3 . Should any condemnation actions be necessary, these will
be handled by the Department and the State Attorney
General's office. Judgments for property appropriated as a
result of condemnation actions brought by the Department and
the State Attorney General's Office will be paid by the
Agency.
4. The Agency agrees to pay directly to the owners
(grantors) of the five parcels to be acquired, the
negotiated costs of the right-of-way purchases upon
submission of an executed Real Property Voucher by the
Department to the Agency.
5. The Agency agrees to reimburse the Department for all
labor-related charges on this project.
6. All acquired property is to be vested in the name of the
Department.
