This number is the mark of a great return - and we still have almost a month of monitoring left! 3,000 has been the average return since 2013. If you'd like to volunteer for this project and help us in our effort to recover threatened Hood Canal Summer Chum there's still spots available! HCSEG is in need of volunteers to help support our Farm at Water's Edge (FAWE)! FAWE is an amazing community resource that provides organic, accessible food to the public from our U-Pick gardens (donation only!), community gardens, as well as serves as an outdoor classroom for our environmental education classes, summer camps and 4-H. The farm is organic and Salmon Safe certified! From help with harvesting, animal upkeep and feeding, to planting and weeding, there's a volunteer opportunity for everyone!
