Oysterfest 2022 October 1-2 Location: Port of Shelton’s Sanderson Field Volunteer with the Hood Canal Salmon Enhancement Group at our Oysterfest booth! We'll be educating the public about our organization along with a fun activity for kids. Please click the volunteer button below to review the available slots and sign up. We have two volunteer slots per day, one in the morning and one in the afternoon. After signing up you'll be sent details for the event. HCSEG is in need of volunteers to help support our Farm at Water's Edge (FAWE)! FAWE is an amazing community resource that provides organic, accessible food to the public from our U-Pick gardens (donation only!), community gardens, as well as serves as an outdoor classroom for our environmental education classes, summer camps and 4-H. The farm is organic and Salmon Safe certified! From help with harvesting, animal upkeep and feeding, to planting and weeding, there's a volunteer opportunity for everyone!
