Mitigation Planning o Determining appropriateness and amount of necessary mitigation to offset impacts, design mitigation areas in conjunction with engineer and/or CAD operator, determine planting palettes, and monitoring guidelines consistent with Agency requirements. Wetland Functional Assessment o Evaluating wetlands in accordance with multiple assessment methods, including the Washington State Wetland Rating System for Western Washington (2004 & 2014); Ohio Rapid Assessment Method (ORAM); Wetland Rapid Assessment Procedure (WRAP); Unified Mitigation Assessment Method (UMAM); and the Ohio stream functional assessments (HHEI, QHEI). Hydric Soil Determinations o Evaluating soils in accordance with the “Field Indicators of Hydric Soils” published by the NRCS to determine whether a soil meets the hydric soil indicators.
