I oppose passage of the proposed 2022 09 16 Ordinance re Legal lots of Record.
As someone who bought land in Jefferson County and contracted to have a house built on it, I can attest to difficulties and delays associated with permitting.
And as a former Chamber of Commerce leader, I have heard many, many stories about how difficult it is to build anything in this County.
And now you are considering adding another35 pages of regulations to the process?
Has no one considered the economic harm to be imposed on landowners as a result of these regulations?
Enough is enough. Please do not approve the above cited ordinance.
