STATEMENT OF ISSUE:
ADVISORY BOARD REAPPOINTMENT re: Jefferson County Parks and Recreation Advisory Board;
Two (2) Year Term to Expire August 27, 2024; District No 1 Representative, Vern Bessey
ANALYSIS:
After advertising closed, a request was received from long standing member,Vern Bessey,to be Reappointed.
Jefferson County Parks & Recreation Manager, Matt Tyler, relayed the Board endorses the reappointment of
Vern Bessey to a Third(3rd)Term. Vern has served consecutive terms since 2018 and is very valued in his role
on the Board.
RECOMMENDATION:
Approve ADVISORY BOARD REAPPOINTMENT re: Jefferson County Parks and Recreation Advisory
Board; Two (2) Year Term to Expire August 27, 2024; District No 1 Representative, Vern Bessey
