While the second round will not be released until sometime in November of 2022, with this notice, WSBO is soliciting comments on important issues that will inform WSBO in crafting scoring requirements for the Fall Notice of Funding Opportunity (NoFO) as well as certain other considerations that are important in the process of administering grant monies. As a result of the Presidentially declared disaster for the Washington Flooding and Mudslides natural disaster events with an incident start date of November 13, 2021, and an incident end date of November 15, 2021. Under the FEMA Major Disaster Declaration designated for Individual Assistance due to the impact of the disaster with grant limits increased from $10,000 to $36,520 in Clallam, Island, Jefferson, Lewis, San Juan, Skagit and Whatcom Counties, and the Hoh, Lummi, Nooksack, Quileute, and Swinomish Indian Reservations.
