Do not open attachments or click on links if you are not expecting them. ________________________________ Dear Port Townsend community members, We write in follow-up to our September 21 letter regarding the July 26 incident at the Mountainview YMCA pool. In our letter, we offered to facilitate a private meeting of all recipients, in the hope of achieving mutual understanding and arriving at a solution agreeable to all parties. Thus far, we have heard back from two recipients. We would like to reiterate our offer to convene with the following group of experts who are willing to make themselves available, pro bono, to facilitate a conversation: Zander Keig, a licensed clinical social worker, Director of the Transgender American Veterans Association Community and Healing Committee, and specialist in constructive conflict resolution. Daryl Davis, a nationally recognized antiracism expert and author who, through interpersonal dialogue, persuaded hundreds of white supremacists to leave the KKK. Fred Luskin, a widely recognized psychologist, author, and former director of the Stanford Forgiveness Project. We hope you will be amenable to our offer, as we believe the Port Townsend community would benefit from a constructive discussion. We look forward to a response at your earliest convenience.
