Analysis/Strategic Goals/Pro's Et Con's: Staff has identified revisions to the operational hours for self-haul customers as the preferred means to provide uninterrupted service with the current and near-term staff available. Staff will provide analysis and recommendation in a workshop format with the Board of County Commissioners. Fiscal Impact/Cost Benefit Analysis: Revisions to operational hours would lower over-time costs. Recommendation: Continue with six days per week operations at the current 9 am to 4:30 pm schedule but allow only the City contract hauler and Washington Utilities and Transportation Commission garbage certificated hauler access to the transfer station on Mondays.
