I wish to express my support for the good work that Manager Danny McEnerney is doing with the
Jefferson County Fair Association. As owners of the Fairgrounds, Jefferson County is deeply invested in
the success of the organization, and we care deeply about the important work you do for our
community.
As such, I am pleased to see the work that Danny has invested in updating the organizational by-laws to
streamline processes, increase transparency and provide a professional framework for doing business.
This is important to me as a contractual partner, and also for the public to see your commitment to good
governance and stewarding of public assets.
I applaud the organization's efforts to make the fairgrounds more accessible and hope to partner with
you to think about how we can continue to make this special place a venue for recreation, education
and more.
