This week, President Biden designated his first national monument -- Camp Hale-Continental Divide -- as well as the expansion of protected lands at the Sand Creek Massacre National Historic
Site. This is important progress, but there is more work to be done toward conserving our lands and waters.
Send a message to the Biden Administration calling on them to keep up the momentum and continue to protect more of our lands and waters. <http://click.emails.sierraclub.org/?qs=48532b2ca5c8d54233c47f

Take Action <http://click.emails.sierraclub.org/?qs=48532b2ca5c8d542d4e7de577984dc0177d800176d85ffad0b8d96ba43ef568a8f928a9b9b17c57bd386eba8425c04c51d54b9b5396ae9f63033819c12293a5e>
Dear John,
My son is almost 7, and he's reintroduced me to the wonders of the natural world. Every rock, tree, stream, and salamander is a reason to delight. Yet, I can't help but ask myself if
nature will still be around when my son grows up.
That's why I recently joined the Sierra Club as the Associate Director for the Lands Water Wildlife campaign. I'm dedicated to protecting and preserving as much nature as possible so
that my son and all our children can enjoy the wonders of the natural world.
This past week, we took a major step forward with President Biden's designation of Camp Hale-Continental Divide as a National Monument and the expansion of protected lands at the Sand
Creek Massacre National Historic Site. Now, we must build on the momentum to conserve more of our lands and waters, and ensure our public lands tell the full history of our country.
Send a message to President Biden now. Urge him to protect more nature so that we can meet our nation's climate goals and preserve our natural and cultural heritage for all future generations
to come. <http://click.emails.sierraclub.org/?qs=48532b2ca5c8d542b8673d44013238eff8679b776c756480456de352cc3e5db0527ab13feefc82025c7feff15a15e13b7aea753ff5105447c3244b814d33d7cb>
I'm terrified when I look at what's happening all over the country. Over-development; mass consumption; and communities facing devastating floods, fires, and droughts. Already, so many
people lack access to healthy outdoor space. Communities fight for their right to clean air and water. Building power to protect our lands, water, and wildlife is more important than
ever before.
We celebrate these newly designated national lands for the vital history they represent and their role in expanding access to nature for many Americans. It is critical that President
Biden continues to identify more areas of permanent protection to ensure that our natural and cultural heritage is preserved for generations to come -- and that our public lands represent
the diverse stories, cultures, and people of this country.
We know this administration is responsive to local voices. Send a message to President Biden and key cabinet members to thank him for his efforts in conserving our lands and waters --
and to urge him to take action now to protect more nature. <http://click.emails.sierraclub.org/?qs=48532b2ca5c8d542d82fea6568ecd677b2a8010e2b7e184e77885a3f9fea42a889a6291d06bde2fda1c6b31e547eaa5bd41

We need wetlands to prevent more floods. We need to protect our drinking water supply from harmful over-development. We need our forests and grasslands for the air we breathe. Our very
survival as a species depends on saving nature.
Together, we can amplify the need for action to protect and preserve more nature.
In Solidarity,
