Do not open attachments or click on links if you are not expecting them. ________________________________ Dear Commissioners Dean, Eisenhour and Brotherton, Thank you for your very helpful discussion of the coming Periodic Review of Composition. I wanted to provide a little more information and a couple of corrections regarding Tuesday's discussion of our transit's PRC. First, TAG has two school board directors on board, not just one - Vivianne Kuehl from the Quilcene School District and John Nowak from the Port Townsend School District. Second, I misspoke when I said that our PRCs have not been correctly conducted in the past. If memory serves: In 2010, all three commissioners (Sullivan, Johnson and Austin) and two council members (Robinson and Randels) were included, incorrectly In 2014, one commissioner (Sullivan) and one council member (Gray) actually debated each other, incorrectly, and voted one in favor and one in opposition In 2018, all three commissioners (Sullivan, Kler and Dean) and one council member (Faber) participated, correctly, and voted two in favor, two in opposition Between the 2010 and 2014 PRCs, in frustration I contacted then Deputy Director of Public Transportation at WSDOT, Cathy Silins, to ask for clarity on the RCW. I have attached my question and her answer. My understanding is that Ms. Silins' opinion is what Mayor Faber referred to in 2018 when the PRC was correctly assembled. Thank you, Debbie Jahnke
