Dear Commissioners Kate, Heidi and Greg,
I’m getting inundated with postcard mailings to tell our county commissioners to oppose efforts to “shut down” state trust lands. I cannot find who is trying to make this a possibility
(postcards just say “some want to”), nor can I find who is behind the Healthy Forests, Healthy Communities/ForestsWorkForUs campaign except Fire Chief Manly and Senators Manchin and
Barrasso.
Has the BoCC had to address this lately? If so, I would like to hear where you stand. Is it an urgent issue? If you have discussed, I’d appreciate direction to the meeting to view.
I don’t want you to have to go out of your way to do my citizen’s duty. I’m annoyed by the lack transparency of this campaign, but find this an important issue.
You are doing a great job in difficult times. Thanks you so very much for your service.
