I am writing as a community member in support of the funding requests made by OWL360 to fund Pfeiffer House. Pfeiffer House provides housing for young adults including young families
with infants who would otherwise be unsheltered. There is no other program of its sort in east Jefferson County. Pfeiffer House has been amazingly successful in reaching young adults
and assisting them in finding long-term affordable housing, jobs and the kinds of resources that young people need to thrive. It would be a travesty of justice to fund agencies that
have representatives on your housing board and omit one organization that does not. Moreover, since Owl360 and Pfeiffer House had scores that were the same as other organizations it
would be quite unfair to not fund Pfeiffer House and fund other organizations with the same scores.
