HOUSING FUND BOARD
Regular Meeting — September 28, 2022 at 2:30 p.m.
Commissioners' Chambers, Jefferson County Courthouse
1820 Jefferson Street, Port Townsend, WA 98368 (Virtual)
CALL TO ORDER: Chair/Jefferson County Commissioner Greg Brotherton called the
meeting of the Joint Jefferson County/City of Port Townsend Housing Fund Board (HFB)to order.
Members participated in the meeting remotely. The following HFB members were present: Vice
Chair/City of Port Townsend Deputy Mayor Amy Howard, Jefferson County Commissioner Kate Dean,
Member Peggy Webster, Member Bob Davis and Member Anya Callahan. Also present: City of Port
Townsend Manager John Mauro and Port Townsend Community Development Director Emma Bolin.
PUBLIC COMMENT PERIOD: No comments received.
APPROVAL OF MINUTES: Member Dean moved to approve the Regular Meeting Minutes of
August 24, 2022 as presented. Vice Chair Howard seconded the motion. The motion carried.
UPDATE re: Fund 148 and Fund 149 and Calendar: Chair Brotherton reviewed the timeline for the
148/149 RFPs with the Housing Fund Board (HFB)members. Vice Chair Howard noted that there is an
error on the RFP regarding a timeline date. She will follow-up to the person who asked her about it.
COMMITTEE UPDATES: HFB members listened to updates from the following committees:
• Funding Opportunities Committee
• 5-Year Plan Committee: Member Aislinn Diamanti is lead on this committee but was not present
to provide an update. Member Webster stated she will work with Clerk Gallaway to provide
information to the HFB members regarding the 5-Year Plan, which is due by November 18,
2022.
• Community Conversations Committee: Chair Brotherton stated many interested parties were
invited to attend their recent meeting. They discussed the following topics at that meeting:
o Housing Coordinator Position
o Workforce Housing
o Pipeline and Provider Strategy
o 5-Year Plan(Housing Continuum in Jefferson County and Strategic Planning)
NEW BUSINESS: The HFB members discussed moving to hybrid meetings. The next HFB meeting
will be in the hybrid format: virtual and in-person.

PUBLIC COMMENT PERIOD: One comment received.
CLOSING REMARKS AND NOTICE OF ADJOURNMENT: Member Dean noted that she
attended a recent housing event with Enterprise Community Partners and provided information about
that meeting.
Chair Brotherton adjourned the meeting at 3:35 p.m. until the next regular meeting or special meeting as
properly noticed.
