Need to request a copy for our records, and it needs to be recorded with the Auditor. DWJ might have it?? Stormwater: Needs to be signed by owner. ADDITIONAL INFO REQUEST 11/08/2022 GEOTECHNICAL REPORT: The site plan received by DCD on October 3, 2022 references a geotechnical report. The report was not submitted with the other application documents, and our office does not have a copy of the report. Please send us a copy of the geotechnical report for our review. NOTICE TO TITLE FOR GEOTECHNICAL REPORT: Once the geotechnical report is reviewed by our office, a Notice to Title must be placed on the parcel to record the report's findings. These are the steps for a Notice to Title for Geotechnical Report 1. DCD will prepare the Notice to Title based on your geotechnical report, and send the Notice to you. 2. You will notarize the Notice to Title and return the notarized copy to our office at 621 Sheridan Street, Port Townsend, WA 98368. Online notaries are accepted. 3. The notarized copy will be signed by the Jefferson County Unified Development Code Administrator. 4. The Notice to Title must be recorded with the Jefferson County Auditor's Office. If you are not able to visit the Jefferson County Courthouse in person, you can record the document online, or pay Jefferson County DCD $102.00 to go to the Courthouse on your behalf. The Auditor's Office charges $203.50 for the first page of a recorded document, and $1.00 for each additional page, payable to Jefferson County Auditor. 11/8/22 Received geotech, prepared and sent Notice to Title Geotechnical report prepared by Stratum Group dated March 21, 2022, received by DCD November 8, 2022. GEOHAZARD RECOMENDATIONS: The home must be located at least 35 feet back from the top edge of the shoreline bluff. Vegetation management between the home sites and the steep slope and on the steep slope for view purposes is acceptable, but should be done consistent with shoreline habitat requirements. I recommend that no trees larger than 30 inches in diameter should be cut. Limbing of larger trees is acceptable. No yard waste or debris should be disposed of on or at the shoreline bluff slope. Adding significant soil or debris to the slope could form an unstable mass on the slope. Stormwater should be managed per the Western Washington Stormwater Manual. Full dispersion and infiltration can be accomplished if stormwater is spread out through multiple dispersion locations, properly sized dispersion/infiltration trenches and French drains or the use of splash blocks from limited roof areas.
