Please do not fall for this phoney carbon capture scheme! Keep DNR Forests working Forests!
As a retired US Forest Service employee I've seen tons of misinformation regarding the status of Federal management. Specifically the Olympic National Forest (formally Quilcene Ranger
District).
Port Townsend enjoys clean water from the Little Quilcene Drainage that during the 50's, 60's and 70's was heavily logged (clear-cut). The Drainage is stable and provides high quality
potable water!
Stop this incessant attacks on Timber Harvest! We need working forests to provide Jobs, raw materials for our mills, etc.
Carbon Capture is just the newest Ploy to turn the Peninsula into a "playground" for the retired by obviously highly influential Goggle, Microsoft, etc retired.
You want family wage jobs and reduced housing costs? Keep the raw material flowing and family wage jobs!
The DNR as well as Federal Forests have sufficient regulation(s) to manage our resources in a Responsible Manner. Support them and the taxpayers!
Do not fall for this thinly veiled attempt to lock up more public lands!
