existing lease, and possible board action to recommend the
proposal. (20 mins)
Draft Motion:
“Having considered the proposal in regular meetings on August 4,
2022 and October 6, 2022, the Jefferson County Parks and Advisory
Board commends Camp Beausite NW for their work, and
recommends that the agreement between Camp Beausite NW and
Jefferson County, which was adopted on August 5, 1994, be modified
to include approximately 6 acres of additional property adjacent to
the southwest of camp, and comprised of a former forestry landing
and forested areas, for purposes of staff housing, camp maintenance
and logistics, horse riding program, hobby farm, and office space; as
well as parking and a septic system.”
