We’re a small team, but we make a big impact. Over the last year, our staff of ten has organized 32 workshops, webinars, and tours that attracted more than 800 people. Those people —
many of them forest owners and managers — are taking what they learned about ecological forestry back to their own forests and communities.
We match our talk with action. This year, we’ve managed 11 ecological thinnings that balance the economic needs of the landowner with the ecological health of the land — ensuring Northwest
forests can continue to flourish for people and wildlife in the long term. We’re proud to see one of our ecological forestry projects on the Kitsap Peninsula recently featured in a
