Tim Ransema called the meeting to order at 3:02pm.

Moved by Marianne, seconded by Vern, and carried all in favor: to accept meeting minutes from June 1,
2022.
Agenda adopted (07:06)
Moved by Marianne, seconded by Roger, and carried all in favor: to adopt the agenda with the updated
meeting minutes date.
OPEN FORUM FOR BOARD MEMBERS
Marianne shared she had to leave at 3:30.
Vern inquired about the JUMP playground grand opening.
NEW BUSINESS
Board Candidate Interview – Susie Marshall (07:47)
Recommendation to the board for appointment (22:00)
Moved by Tim, seconded by Roger, and carried all in favor: to recommend to the Board of County
Commissioners that Susie Marshall be appointed to District 3 Jefferson County Parks Advisory Board.
Park Tour Planning (25:29)
Matt gave a presentation reviewing the purpose of the tour and suggestions for visits.
Discussion occurred around tour spots.

Moved by Vern, seconded by Taylor, and carried all in favor: to recommend continued development of
the proposal to expand the existing lease with Camp Beausite N.W. to include approximately 6 acres
adjacent to the southwest of camp and comprised of the former forestry landing and forested areas for
purposes of staff housing, camp maintenance and logistics, horse riding program, hobby farm, and office
space; as well as parking and a septic system. (1:12:50)
